I really like Aphogee. Which Black-Owned brand would do you think could be a replacement for them (Similar products)?
I use aphogee as well, they have a great protein line. I’m not exactly sure of an exact replacement of their product, unless you were to attempt a DIY. I’m not saying to stay clear of all non- black owned products, especially when their isn’t a suitable replacement, but try to go out of your way to support other black owned businesses. I myself have a few non-black owned products like aphogee, eco styler, etc,but that’s only because I can’t find their specific equals with other black owned products. However, the vast majority of what I use in my hair is black owned. Hope that helps somewhat.
thanx for this post its really useful
No problem, thanks for stopping by.
what about Jane carter nourish n shine?
Wow I really love that line. I use her products alot. Honestly, I’m kinda of on the fence with the creator, i’m not sure of her ethnicity, she looks Spanish, so I didn’t bother to place her on the list. I love some of her products however.
This was helpful are there any black owned professional hair color lines?
yes. I know that Shea moisture has a hair color line. Not sure of any others but I will try to find out.
